Dance music

Every single one of these music videos fit the dance genre through their use of a high beat tempo accompanied with vast amounts of up tempo dancing. The actors do not mime along with the song as they are dancers instead of the artists who produced the music. In the dance genre it is very unlikely for the artist to appear in their own video. The actors also wear bright clothing to signify the energetic style of music.

On the whole the Sigala music video lacks a lot of representation of people throughout except for this scene where people of black and white ethnicity are dancing freely in the music together. The location in the video indicates that the actors are just common everyday people who are of average wealth. The clothing used in the video are demonstrative of the typical clothes wore by different age groups and sexualities.

The MK video represents natives of Africa as energetic and lively people, demonstrating them as being huge fans of this style of music. Also, the bright colours emphasise the vibrant nature of Africa and its inhabitants.

The combination of the dire and lifeless background combined with the bright and exuberant colours represents the people as energetic and lively when listening to upbeat tempo of the music from the dance genre.

Both of these music videos from the dance genre combine the features of the previously researched videos, with bright coloured clothing and mass amounts of people dancing energetically indicating that it comes under the dance genre. The settings that are used in both of these music videos emphasises the vibrant nature of the dancing, as the wide and open locations combined with the vast amounts of varying types of lighting create an energetic and lively mood for the dancers to perform in  and under.
